Mechanical Design Services

Mechanical systems account for approximately 28% of electricity use in California. A high performing system has the ability to produce considerable energy savings with cost savings from 10%-40%. Our mechanical engineers work closely with architects to explore whole building approaches that take into account the building envelope and lighting system for potential savings of 40%-70%. We are focused to reduce energy consumption while maintaining occupant comfort.

As energy prices continue to escalate, the life-cycle cost of a high performance system is relatively low. The simple payback for such systems is typically between three to five years. Furthermore, other technologies such as energy management systems and thermal energy storage may be utilized to reduce peak load.
